Christian Science is revealing to a saddened and sin-sick world the knowledge of God, which is eternal life; and the sick are being healed, the sinning reformed, and the weary and heavy-laden are receiving the joy, comfort, sustenance, and peace which the knowledge of the one true and living God imparts, the God who is Life, Truth, Love, all power, all presence. As one that dwelt in the land "of the shadow of death," as one on whom the great light of Christian Science has shone, it is my privilege to state that I was healed of hereditary consumption. After nine physicians had pronounced my case hopeless, Christian Science healed me.
