One of my earliest demonstrations of the healing power of Christian Science was made in childhood, when I was on an ocean voyage. The sea was very rough, and seasickness was general on board the ship. I was a beginner in the Christian Science Sunday School at the time, and knew comparatively little about Christian Science; but by putting the knowledge I did have of God's love for His children into practice, I experienced no seasickness whatsoever. Later, I was instantaneously healed of asthma through Christian Science treatment, and in a few days' time was healed of so-called hereditary deafness in one ear.

I am very grateful for the understanding of God, as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which shows that He supplies all my needs, including employment, funds, and true friendship.
