I am deeply grateful to be able to testify to the healing...
I am deeply grateful to be able to testify to the healing power of divine Love, and wish to relate a healing that I experienced through the little understanding I have gained of Christian Science. Some time ago, on looking at my teeth, I discovered a small cavity. My mother looked at it and also pronounced it one. An appointment was made with the dentist. The day I was to go to him I was working in Science, and the realization came to me very clearly that in reality there was nothing to fill; that nothing can be taken away from God's creation, and nothing can be added to God's creation, for all is complete and perfect. I went to the dentist, and while there had not the least bit of fear, whereas before I had known nothing but fear at such times. I told him where the cavity was supposed to be, but in a very few minutes he handed me the mirror and asked me to tell him again where it was. He said he could find no cavity there. I am so grateful for the destruction of the fear and the seeming error that I cannot help being thankful to the Giver of all good.
Another healing I should like to speak of was effected through the help of a friend. I had for some time a blemish on my chin, and it kept growing. It was not very pleasant to see. I knew that a blemish is not a manifestation of the one Mind, and therefore does not belong to God's child. Finally, one day I asked a very dear friend to help me, and through her loving assistance in Christian Science I was completely healed. The healing took place on a Saturday afternoon, and in a very few days no one would have known that I had had any mark of imperfection.
I can never cease to be grateful to God for these healings and for many others that I have experienced in Christian Science. I am grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to Mary Baker Eddy for the healing truth that has come to this age.
