[Written for the Sentinel]

Appeal

God, my creator, Life divine,
Thou art all good, forever mine.
I need Thee, Lord; lead me to Thee,
To Thine own realm of harmony.

Help me to hear Thy slightest call,
To rise triumphant when I fall;
Help me to see Thee face to face,
To dwell within "the secret place."

And may Thy kingdom come, I pray,
Dispel the night, reveal the day;
Make light the path of those in need,
And with Thy heavenly manna feed

All who are weary, worn, and sad;
True Life unfold and make them glad.
Dear Father-Mother God, to Thee
May endless praise and glory be.
