For twelve years Christian Science, as taught by Mary Baker Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," has been my only physician; and words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the blessings received. Among the discords from which I have been freed are influenza, gallstones, extreme nervous exhaustion, sprained ankle, and fallen arches. The last condition was overcome at the time the sprained ankle was healed, though no special Science work was done for the arches. This healing took place in two days, and was accomplished through reading Science and Health. That was years ago. Though I am on my feet a great deal, the trouble has not returned, and my feet never ache any more. In fact, through prayerful study of the Bible and of Mrs. Eddy's writings, my whole life has been transformed. That some wrong traits of character have been destroyed and that others are in the process of yielding to the power of Truth, I give thanks.

I also wish to express gratitude for the loving help of friends and practitioners. Whenever I have applied Christian Science faithfully, it has never failed to bring healing; and always, by holding thought steadfastly to the good and true, I have come out of the wilderness of belief into the promised land of understanding. For membership in The Mother Church and the privilege of class instruction I am very grateful; also for those at headquarters who give us our helpful, healing periodicals.
