It is with a great sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me that I give this testimony. From a child I was always weak, in ill health, and of a very morbid disposition. It seemed that I was always looking for something; and I know now that I was looking for the truth, without which none of us can be truly happy.

While visiting an aunt who was a student of Christian Science, I picked up a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to read. I became very much interested; and after reading for a few days I discovered that I was healed of a complaint of long standing; and my whole outlook on life was changed. I was indeed "born again." Since then, I have had many healings, including colds, throat trouble, eczema, and grippe. It was never thought possible for me to do any remunerative work; but since studying Science I have been able to be at work almost constantly, holding positions which required unusual endurance.

For all the physical healings I am indeed grateful, but more than all else for the peace and joy which come with a clearer understanding of God's eternal truth. For all the blessings which I have received in Christian Science I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good gifts, to our dear Master, Christ Jesus, and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who so bravely bore the burden and heat of the day in order to give to this age the truth which is making mankind free.—(Miss) Cornelia S.
