On
the evening of Monday, June 26, a meeting was held in The Mother Church to advance the interests of our periodicals.
Because
Christian Science is the Science of Christianity or the exact, provable knowledge of God and His laws, which was declared plainly and demonstrated fully by Christ Jesus, it is the one and only means whereby all human needs can be met.
An
outstanding characteristic of the Christian Scientist is his deep gratitude to God.
One
of the most insistent forms of fear in human thought is that it may be controlled or dominated in a way undesirable to itself.

On page 807 of this issue of the Sentinel appears a notice regarding the discontinuance of the Pacific Coast Depot of The Christian Science Publishing Society.
My gratitude to God for the innumerable blessings which have come to us during the eighteen years of our experience in Christian Science is unbounded.
For many years I was treated by many different doctors for a diseased condition of the lower part of my back, which interfered with my walking, and was very painful at times.
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures".
I was very much interested lately in reading an article in The Christian Science Monitor entitled, "Help Me Get a Position," in which it showed how in Christian Science it was just as easy to demonstrate the truth about a position as it was to heal the sick and sinful.
I am, indeed, grateful to be afforded the opportunity to testify to the benefits I have received in Christian Science.
I have no words to express my thankfulness for all the good that has come into my life through Christian Science.
"Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
It is now nearly twelve years since Christian Science came into my experience.
The following is only one of the many wonderful demonstrations we have had since striving to know God aright; and Christian Science has been our deliverer.
It is my privilege to tell of some of the remarkable healings which I have had in Christian Science through a practitioner, whose consecrated work has met my every need.
It is with love and gratitude that I testify to the healings that have taken place through the application of the Christ, Truth; and I feel it a privilege as well as a duty to tell of it.
It is with a great sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me that I give this testimony.
