It is with a deep sense of thankfulness to God and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy that I wish to express my thanks for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me and mine. A number of years ago, when first becoming interested in Christian Science, I had an attack of rheumatism, the first I had ever had, and was unable to lie down, but paced the floor for some time until my wife called a practitioner and asked for help for me. In a very short time I was able to go to bed and to sleep. In a few more treatments I was healed, and at the same time the tobacco habit was overcome. I had been a heavy smoker for years, but this desire left me, and for years I have not smoked. For these and many other blessings I am very grateful.

I wish to corroborate my husband's testimony. He was healed as stated. We have received many healings in our family in the past eight years. Our young son knows of no other help than that of God in time of need, and was recently healed of tonsillitis in a very short time. We are thankful that we are members of The Mother Church, also of a local church, and I am very grateful for the healings we have had in Christian Science and for help in every way.—Mrs. J. E.
