I feel that I have been receiving good from the Christian Science periodicals without giving anything in return quite long enough, and I hope this testimony will help some one else to see the way of Truth. Many years ago when a semi-invalid, suffering from an incurable throat trouble, I began the study of Christian Science in the search for a more satisfying religion. I was told that the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, would heal physical disease, but this I did not believe. However, I thought I would give it a fair trial by reading the book and making an effort to apply its rules to the best of my understanding, with the result that in a few months I was entirely healed of the throat trouble, a weak heart, quinsy, and other ailments. It is needless to say that I also found the satisfying religion for which I sought, and though there have been many seeming trials, I have always knows that there was nothing to go back to and everything to look forward to.

It is my great privilege to have had class instruction, to be a worker in a small church, and to help others along the way. I am most grateful for the countless blessings which have come to me through the teachings of Christian Science and my desire is that I may follow more closely in the footsteps of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
