Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science...

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I was brought up in a denominational church of which I became an active member. In the early stages of the world war I became an atheist and fell an easy victim to liquor, tobacco, and the use of profanity. I started traveling from one city to another, and finally I entered a Christian Science home. When Christian Science was first introduced to me I laughed it to scorn but I soon found I could not laugh at Christian Science but only at what I ignorantly thought it to be. I purchased and read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and in a short time was healed of my former sinful habits. I had always been subject to colds in the head, of which I was healed, and I have not had a return of them since. With the help of a practitioner I was healed of influenza, at which time I was able to be about my work within a week. For these healings and countless others and for the better understanding I have gained of the Bible through the teaching of Christian Science I am deeply grateful. I am also grateful to Mary Baker Eddy, who rediscovered this glorious truth, which has not failed to supply my every need.
