Before studying Christian Science I had many ills, among them chronic sick headaches from which I had suffered for many years. I had taken much medicine recommended to me as a cure, but found only temporary relief. Through the study of Christian Science I was entirely healed. I was not only healed physically but my nature was transformed, my desires and aims in life were changed.

Later I seemed to be deprived of everything near and dear to a woman—home, husband, and friends. I found myself alone and without anything worth relying on but Christian Science. I again turned away from the testimony of the material senses with renewed energy to seek a more clear and correct understanding of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy. I have again been blessed and have learned of the friendship of divine Principle that never fails and I have gained a peace of mind I had not known for years.

While it was not my privilege to have a college education, a real education is in large measure coming to me through reading The Christian Science Monitor, the daily newspaper which our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, established, through which I have received great blessing.
