Christian Scientists are taught, not to deny, but to follow in the steps of Jesus Christ. They use the Lord's Prayer in all their services, and they, so far as they understand, utilize the power of prayer in healing the sick and in reforming the sinner. The fact that we are taught to pray in God's name does not narrow but rather broadens the approach to Him when we learn, even in a small degree, to think of and to know God as the Father-Mother God of all His spiritual, perfect creation, the one omnipresent, infinite, divine Principle, Life, Truth, Love.
