I was suffering from rheumatism when Christian Science was brought to my notice. At first I could not believe in it, as its teachings seemed too good to be true; but I wanted to find out for myself, so borrowed a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and began to study. In two weeks I was completely healed. Since then I have been healed of a number of diseases, one of which two physicians pronounced incurable.

Last July my brother was killed in France, in the second battle of the Marne. For a few moments after I heard of it I could hardly rise above the sense of loss, but I kept right on clinging to Truth, and very soon was able to sit down and write to all my people, so as to help them. We were all wonderfully upheld.

I am thankful for the benefits I have received from Christian Science and try faithfully each day to follow its teachings. I rely upon Science all the time in my home, and we are usually happy, well, and contented. God has supplied all our needs and healed all our diseases.
