I have been helped so many times in right thinking by reading the testimonies, that I trust some one may be helped by reading this. My early home training made me familiar with the Bible and active in all church affairs; but as I grew older I became dissatisfied with it all, so that by the time I was thirty years old I had laid aside the Bible and all religious activities. For about fifteen years I probably did not open the Bible or enter a church, but relied upon what I called nature and common sense as my guide. Still I was dissatisfied, almost constantly in ill health, and not making a success of life. At last I gave up work, and about a year and a half was spent in trying to get relief from lung trouble that the X-ray showed to be serious. Physicians gave me no hope so long as I remained in the eastern states, and it was just as I was making the final preparations to move to Colorado that a neighbor let us take her copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

Needless to say, before I had read very much of the book I knew a change of climate would not affect my health, and in about three weeks I was free, not only from the lung trouble, but from intestinal and stomach disorder of many years' standing. Since then I have been doing any work that I have been called upon to do, while most of the time for nearly a year and a half previous I had spent in bed. The healing occurred in February, 1917. Two or three months later, as my business affairs did not improve as quickly as my health, discouragement crept in; but with the patient, loving help of a practitioner this was overcome, and I regained my mental poise. In a short time the demonstration was made, and I find myself doing a business which I spent my early life in preparing for and then about twenty years in searching for.

Although I am a native of New England and had heard more or less of Christian Science nearly all my life, I have only now come to the realization of the truth and to express my heartfelt gratitude for the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's interpretation of it.—George M. Tucker, Wendel, Pa.
