Extracts from Letters
"Christian Science is indeed proving itself the Comforter to me, and I am grateful beyond the ability to convey it in words for what I know about it. We find it to be the link that connects man to God and that enables us to discover our real selves It becomes impossible for us to imagine what we could be or do without it, because this glorius truth gives us a new and higher view of everything.
"I am very thankful for the literature. There have been times when it has proved itself to be the only key that would enable me to enter the 'secret place of the most High.' I have attained here at the front by means of Christian Science a deeper and more permanent sense of peace and comfort and health than I have ever known before. Surely to Mrs. Eddy we owe an endless debt of gratitude for this fruit of her indefatigable and gentle efforts."
