On page 302 of "Miscellaneous Writings" Mrs. Eddy says, "Much good has been accomplished through Christian Science Sunday services." So many times I realize this fact, as it was through attending a Sunday afternoon service at the dedication of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in my home city that I was completely healed of the appetite for wines and liquors. I had gone to the service more to please others than myself and with a slight curiosity to see what the inside of a Christian Science church was like. To my great joy I found out.

The study and application of the truth taught in Christian Science has made a marked change in my life. The knowledge that God is Love is ever present in my thought, and has enabled me to demonstrate over evil and disease. We have had many proofs of the healing power of Truth in my family. I am very grateful for the many blessings that Christian Science is bringing to all, also for our literature, especially the Monitor, which we are daily realizing is accomplishing its mission "to bless all mankind" (Miscellany, p. 353). It is an especial privilege to be a supporter of the periodicals.—John D. King, Janesville, Wis.
