I write this testimony with deep gratitude to God and to Mrs. Eddy for the loving help I have received through Christian Science. We first came into Christian Science about two years ago, and since then we have had many demonstrations of its healing power. We had been in Christian Science only a short time when our little daughters got the whooping cough, but it was overcome very soon. I have been freed from attacks of sick headache by reading testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel, and have been able to give up wearing glasses. A malignant growth of the breast disappeared in a week through treatment from a practitioner. My little daughter sprained her ankle, but was healed instantly through the realization of God's presence and power. My sister suffered from a very bad skin disease and tried six doctors but got no help. At last she turned to Christian Science and was perfectly healed. Colds, cuts, burns, and earache have been healed instantaneously. In some cases the treatments were all absent, proving to us that God is ever present and always ready to help His children. I am most grateful for the spiritual uplift which we have experienced since coming into this new-old religion which Jesus taught so long ago. My daily prayer is to be able to help others as I have been helped.
