"Oh, Mother, Mother, learn to think right," was the oft repeated admonition of a friend to her mother during a two weeks' visit three years ago that brought to my attention the message of Christian Science. Gradually, through the study of the Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I learned that inharmony of thought or experience did not belong to me, that freedom is the heritage of God's child,—freedom from all that is apart from God, freedom in all that is right. I began to realize that God is all-intelligence, the source of all supply, that I had only to live in the consciousness of ever present, ever active divine Love to know this truth that makes free from all forms of error. I began to appreciate the self-sacrifice, years of labor, and demonstration necessary for Mrs. Eddy to give to the world this healing truth. During the first winter's study of Science and Health I was healed, without any treatment, of varicose veins and of a sore the presence of which for a number of years made me fear it might be malignant. From the first, Christian Science has been our only physician, and it has overcome every discordant condition not only for myself but for my little girl, now nine years old. With the help of a practitioner ailments have quickly disappeared, so that the child has never been absent a day in the three years she has attended school.

I am, however, most grateful for the daily demonstration that this wonderful truth about God, which Christian Science reveals, is of practical application to every experience of life, casting out fear and leading unerringly in the way of Life eternal.
