With the deepest gratitude I give this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me during the last fourteen years. A number of years before I began the study of this teachings, I was subject to colds which seemed to settle in my ears. Specialists had treated me for this trouble, but I never was healed. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner, however, and the understanding I gained by study of this healing truth, it soon disappeared. I have also been healed of an ulcer on the eyeball, and of an injury to the spine caused by a fall. For these healings I am grateful, but words cannot tell of the gratitude I feel when I think how Christian Science is freeing me from discouragement and despondency; I was almost always unhappy an blue. The spiritual uplift is bringing joy, happiness, and peace.

I am thankful to God for all the blessings I have received, and more thankful that day by day I am growing to know God as He is. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and want to gain a clear understanding of the truth.
