With heartfelt gratitude I wish to testify to all that Christian Science has done for me. I had been a constant sufferer from what the doctors called chronic inflammation of the stomach, with a periodic displacement of that organ, during which time I suffered untold agony. Day and night for three years and a half I was in constant pain, until life was nearly unendurable. I had tried every material means for obtaining relief, even to the fasting cure, going without food at one time for fifteen days, but without relief. As a last resort I turned to Christian Science. After the first treatment I could see improvement, and in a few weeks I was entirely cured, and the healing has been permanent.

I can never express all that this wonderful truth has meant to me, not only in my physical healing, but in a spiritual sense. Several years ago I became dissatisfied with the doctrines of the church in which I had been brought up, and I determined to find the truth for myself, if it could be found. I studied earnestly every form of religious belief, but found nothing to satisfy my longing for a practical religion, one that could be taken into my daily life, making it sweeter, better, and more worth living. Christian Science has proved to be all that I had been seeking. The Bible, which was to me both uninteresting and enigmatical before, has become an inspired book, and my whole life is being transformed by its glorious truths.

My heart goes out in thankfulness to God for leading me into this wonderful light, in gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, and to those who have helped to set my feet firmly in the path leading to our Father's house.
