I wish to testify to a few of the many blessings received through Christian Science. I was a nervous wreck and could not sleep; sometimes I slept but half an hour out of the twenty-four. My right foot and limb had never been in good condition after the birth of one of our children, and it was growing worse all the time, so that I had not been able to walk a block or to lie on my right side for several months. The doctors could do nothing for me, as they said medicine had no effect upon me, and one physician said I could live but a short time. Now, owing to the healing efficacy of Christian Science, I can walk as well and as far as any one. I do all the work for our family of seven, whereas before I had not been able to do anything for some time. My healing has remained permanent, and I am now in perfect health.

Since coming to Christian Science our last baby was born. The birth was almost painless, the last hour later. The kind practitioner arrived about six hours later. The child was born with a large swelling on his neck, but it disappeared in eighteen hours. The doctor thought a blood-vessel had burst and was doubtful if the child could live, but he is now a strong, healthy baby. I was dressed and sat up the fourth day. Everything was harmonious, while before I came to Christian Science all was discord. I have also had nine teeth extracted without pain.

Every day I feel more thankful to God for the many blessings I have received, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having shown us the way; also to those who so lovingly helped me through the dark days.
