I have long delayed sending my testimony of the peace and comfort that Christian Science has brought into my life, and it is with loving gratitude that I give it now. I came into Christian Science two years ago for nervous breakdown, which was caused by a series of bad habits, and today the nervousness has entirely left me and the bad habits have also disappeared. This nervousness was accompanied by a fear of being alone. At one time I was afraid to walk around the block; and it was several months before I could go down-town on the street-car without some one with me. Now, through the understanding that God is everywhere, the fear has entirely left me, and I have absolute trust in God, in whom "we live, and move, and have our being." My business takes me out of town occasionally, and on each trip I have had perfect peace, fearing nothing, because now I have learned to have faith in God.

I am grateful for Christian Science because it has taught me to live right, and each day I am learning more of God and how to be kind and unselfish to my neighbor. I am indeed thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for a religion that teaches us to be better men and women.
