It was through reading the testimonies in the Sentinel sent me by a Scientist who heard of my condition, that I was encouraged to try Christian Science, and a desire to help others prompts me to acknowledge through its pages my healing, which occurred nine years ago. I had the best medical attention which could be secured, for an internal trouble, with untiring love and care from relative, and I appreciate the efforts and kindness of the physicians; but I only recovered sufficiently to be up, and on days when I felt my best could go driving, but was unable to care for my room or to exert myself in any way. If I walked two blocks, I would be completely exhausted. After beginning to take treatment in Christian Science I gradually came to act more naturally, and was so much improved in a few months that I appeared well, although I did not experience complete healing for a year. After two operations had failed to cure me, and the physicians had suggested a third with slight encouragement that I would experience much benefit, I feel very grateful indeed to God, also thankful to Mrs. Eddy and all who have ever helped me along the way, for the healing and happiness I have enjoyed since learning of this truth.
