I would like to tell of my experiences in Christian Science, for I have a great sense of joy and gratitude for having been led to find the truth which makes us free. In May, 1913, our three-year-old child was attacked with measles and had high fever. We had been acquainted with the teachings of Christian Science for some time, so we quietly set to work to overcome this condition, and later asked a Christian Scientist for absent treatment, which was taken up. After the first treatment the fever left, and within a few days the disease disappeared entirely. The child was completely healed, and has enjoyed the best of health ever since. For this convincing proof of the power of divine Love I am deeply grateful to God, and also thankful to Mrs. Eddy, through whom He has shown us the true way of attaining health and holiness.
