I wish to express my thanks for having been able to get Christian Science treatment for our son, ten years of age, when he developed a case of measles. He also had a badly ulcerated mouth, and could eat scarcely anything. We are a long distance from a practitioner, so our letter did not reach her until three days after he was first taken ill, but as soon as treatment was given the healing was immediate. His mouth was so quickly and perfectly healed that he never felt the pain again, and he ate his food and went to sleep. He was entirely well, and there were no bad after effects.
My own understanding of Christian Science is small, but it has been sufficient to overcome croup for my son, and to heal a wound in his instep from a rusty pitchfork. I have also been able, by applying this truth as I understand it, to overcome the suffering from bad burns, once in particular, when I upset some boiling water over my chest. It would have been a bad scald under other conditions, but it did not hurt me at all after a few minutes. The place healed perfectly in a week, and left not the slightest scar. Besides all this I have been healed of chronic suffering of twenty years' standing. I am becoming more and more interested in Christian Science, and I read and study the Lesson-Sermon, also take the Sentinel and Journal, and hope soon to subscribe for the Monitor. I am more thankful every day for all the help and comfort which Christian Science brings.
Mrs. H. R. Morris, Wapella, Saskatchewan, Canada.
