It is with a grateful heart that I think of the wonderful help which Christian Science has been to me, and I feel it a duty to tell others about some of the many blessings received through its teachings. It has made our home a place of peace and harmony. For many years I was a slave to materia medica, but through the knowledge of God gained in Christian Science, the truth has made me free.
My son was taken very sick, and we called a doctor to diagnose the case. He pronounced it a very serious attack of typhoid fever, and insisted on our giving him no solid food. He also said that the boy would not be able to sleep on account of the high fever, and that it would be necessary to attend to him throughout the night. I immediately called a Christian Science practitioner, and from the first treatment my son was helped; he slept all night, and in three days he was perfectly well. Our daughter's baby was also healed of acute lung trouble and whooping-cough. For the many blessings which we have received through Christian Science I am indeed very thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for revealing to the world the truth which heals and saves. I am also grateful for the Christian Science literature.
