With the psalmist I can say, "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." It was the longing for health, after becoming thoroughly disheartened with sickness and a long list of sorrows and misfortunes, that led me to Christian Science for help. The passing on of two children, followed quickly by a business failure which left my husband and myself homeless and without means, caused such a general breakdown that I hardly cared to live. My dear mother urged me to try Christian Science, and so I did, as I had one boy nine years old left and I longed to bring him up myself.

Such help as I have received I can hardly measure. I was healed of several very disagreeable ailments, including extreme nervousness. My entire life has been changed and my home has been made harmonious. The study of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, has been so helpful it has brought about a continuous unfolding of good and great spiritual uplift. All my thoughts have been changed for the better. The fear I entertained respecting our little boy was hard to overcome, but at last it was met; and he is now man-grown and for twelve years has had neither physician nor medicine.

The old unrest has passed away, and sweet peace and courage fill my life. This passage of Scripture, "Seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you," has also been fulfilled, for plenty is here after the business failure, with no fear for future needs, for God supplies all.
