For three years the understanding of the allness of God, good, and the unreality of evil, has been unfolding to me through the study of Christian Science. My father had passed on three years before this time after suffering six years from so-called Bright's disease, and the belief in heredity was very strong with me, as the physicians condemned me to the same disease.

When I applied to a Christian Science practitioner for help I was a semiinvalid, suffering as the time, unhappy and discouraged. The physicians could give me no relief, could not even allay the pain with drugs; but help came very quickly to me when I reached out to the truth, and I am very thankful today to know that I am a well woman, and so pronounced by one of the medical fraternity. Ever since that time, March, 1909, I have found divine Mind "a very present help in trouble," and have been very thankful to Mrs. Eddy for her life and labors, which have made possible this understanding that has come to me.
