For a number of years I had been suffering with rheumatism, a stomach and heart trouble, sleeplessness and general weakness, as well as loss of flesh. I had been treated for a long while by various physicians without success, when I heard of Christian Science. I was inspired with confidence immediately, began to read the Christian Science periodicals, and attended the meetings. After a short while my condition improved so much that I did not need treatment any longer. I can see more and more the nothingness of matter, and have been able to attend to my usual work since last spring [1910].
I feel firm in the knowledge that God blesses a strong faith and genuine trust in Him, and I hope to discern more and more of the truth. My gratitude goes out to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. May the blessings which God sends to humanity through Christian Science be more and more seen and acknowledged.
Frau Johanne Armbrecht, Einbeck, Germany.
