Christian Science came to me through a lecture about five years ago. Up to that time I had only heard of it from persons who criticized or ridiculed it, but I was convinced at the close of this lecture that it was the truth. Soon after, I purchased a copy of Science and Health and began to read it; also took two treatments of a practitioner. In about three weeks the truth came to my consciousness so that I was healed of catarrh with which I had been afflicted for over twenty years, also stomach and liver trouble, besides other complaints; in fact, I could not truthfully say that I had ever known a well day until I was healed in Christian Science.

Not a day passes in which I do not recognize some good that comes to me through the knowledge I have gained of divine Science. To me the spiritual uplifting is more wonderful than the physical healing. I thank God for all the good that has come to me; it was always mine, but I could not receive it until it was explained to me through "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I am indeed thankful to Mrs. Eddy for having shown us the way to receive this healing truth.
