It is a pleasure to acknowledge the great benefits which have come to me through Christian Science. I began investigating it over a year ago, when I had been in poor health for a year and a half, having been under the doctor's care most of the time. I had to undergo an operation, and I suffered greatly from it. When I had been home for a month or more I got worse, and the doctors said I must have another operation, and must not expect to be well for a year or more. I was suffering all the time, and was so nervous that I could not read or even be still. My husband spoke of taking me back East for medical treatment, but I did not care to go, as we had had some of the best physicians in Seattle and also some from another city, and their treatment only seemed to make me worse instead of better. It had cost us a great deal of money, but I gave up hope, and cried most of the time, wishing that each day would be my last, when some one suggested that we try Christian Science. I went to a practitioner at once and took treatment, and in a few days I felt better. In four weeks I was well and stronger than I was before I became sick. I had heard of this truth for a number of years, and some of my best friends are Christian Scientists, but I thought it was hard to understand. I can now see what the truth has done for me and is doing every day. Science and Health is a great comfort to me always, and I am thankful for Christian Science.
