I was a sufferer from heart and stomach complaints of many years' standing until two years ago, when in a public library in London I read a Christian Science Journal containing the "Los Angeles Case." This case led me into Christian Science. I was very soon healed; and drinking, smoking, and other bad habits left me.

At times the way has seemed very hard, but truth has always been victorious. I have been able to help at home, and to assist neighbors. Scarlet fever, cancer, dyspepsia, bronchitis, and other ailments have been overcome, sometimes instantaneously. For all these proofs of God's ever-present love and power I am very deeply grateful. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for restoring primitive Christianity—the truth that heals.
