I would like to tell what Christian Science has done for...
I would like to tell what Christian Science has done for me. Last summer I was stricken down with what materia medica calls typhoid fever, and to material sense it was a pretty severe case. I was taken down one Friday and grew steadily worse until Wednesday when the fever left me entirely. I was left as weak as a babe, in fact more so, for I could not move an inch, and had to be fed; but after that I steadily grew stronger until now I am as well and hearty as any one.
While I was down, I had contemplated going on a little trip, and was afraid I would not be able to go, but as is always the case. Truth vanquished error and I went, having a fine time. When I got out of bed I weighed about one hundred and fifteen pounds: I now weigh one hundred and forty-seven pounds. In my case a practitioner in Boston, Mass., was telegraphed to, and I had absent treatment. I am thankful for her help in destroying error, and enabling me to acknowledge Truth.
Our family has been in Science seven years, and this truth has met and destroyed every ailment that has shown up among them, blood poison, measles, croup, inflammatory rheumatism, and several others.
