A Thankful Heart
The following appreciative letter was recently received by one of the practitioners at Concord, N. H. The case was one of physical and moral regeneration, and the young man was put in a way to be a blessing to himself and to others.
"A little over a year ago my brother went to you in Concord for physical help, and through your instrumentality he was healed, body and soul. I have long felt that you should know the appreciation that we,—his people,—feel for your efforts. His case, no doubt, made no special impression upon you among the hundreds that are brought to your attention; but to one man a new life was opened up that day,—a life of earnest endeavor and strong purpose, and he is becoming now the man that he was intended to be in the beginning,—a wonderful help to his fellow-men.
"His physical healing we are grateful for, but it is a very small part of what has been done spiritually for my dear brother. He was a slave to the habit that wrecks a man, body and soul, had tried in every way to overcome it but with no avail. And this spiritual help brought him to himself and gave him use of the God-given powers he had never known before, and for this I bless God that he was reached through your influence, as I have always known he must be in due time in answer to all the prayers that have been uttered for him. I am no Scientist. It is to me simply one of the channels through which God reaches some of His children, but it will always have a sacred place in my heart for what it has done for one most dear to me. So thank you for your work with him."
