An Expression of Thanks

I should like to express deep gratitude to God, the giver of all good, for the heavenly food with which He has so oft fed me through the Christian Science Journals, Sentinels, and Quarterlies. I wish to record my true appreciation of those who are bringing all their tithes into the storehouse by contributing, to the Journal and Sentinel. for May 23, 1903, seemed to me particularly replete with true thoughts and pointed lessons; a personal need was met through the study of the article, "Take up the Cross" and the illustration therein of our Saviour's "uncongenial" surroundings.

Let us indeed realize that the Principle governing circumstances is always wise, and can never cease to be so; then we shall understand that as the manifestation of good in each individual must be individual and distinct, so the seeming beliefs, whose negation we know, must be distinct. This understanding leads us to find the Principle actuating all good manifestations rather than to look at the manifestations themselves. If we do this, then our progress will be more rapid and sure. Only as we understand that good is already manifested in infinite space, can we securely walk the journey back to our home, even to primal good and primitive Principle. Then Mind's ideas will constantly occupy consciousness. A word of heartwhole thanks to His servant, Mary Baker G. Eddy, for the message which she obediently delivers to the world.

We, in London, England, know that in reality Mind's ideas are expressed just as much here; space is nought, since God is everywhere present. Christian Science does grow "in favor with God and man."
