"Hold fast that which is good."
In the Journal of Medicine and Science
Mr. Editor.
In a recent issue of your magazine a gentleman declares his belief that by using Bible methods, the prayer of faith would heal the sick, and the Lord should raise him up, but he does not believe that a Christian Scientist can do this.
Since he has already admitted that it is possible to heal the sick through the prayer of faith, he has put himself in a position where he must also acknowledge that it is a duty to do this. If he cannot give to us a better method of healing through divine power, he should not attempt to take away the one we now employ.
