Among the Churches
The reports presented at the annual meeting of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Montreal, Can., were very encouraging, and show that the membership has increased, that there has been a steady gain in the attendance, and that the finances of the church are on a sound basis.
The Sunday and Wednesday meetings have been marked by increased attendance, many testimonies being given of the efficacy of Christian Science to overcome sin and disease, and of thankfulness to God and to the revered Leader of this great movement for the blessings which this religion brings.
During the year the counsel and advice of all the members has been sought when business of more than ordinary importance has presented itself, thereby extending the responsibility of the government of this church to all the members and consequently strengthening the hands of the Board.
