Baron d'Estournelles de Constant, the French Deputy, and a delegate of France to The Hague Peace Conference, has given out a statement regarding the political meaning of King Edward's visit to Paris, and the advancing world movement in favor of arbitration, in which he says: "While I am convinced King Edward did not utter a word on politics, yet his visit will have the happiest effect on the relations between the two countries.
THROUGHOUT
the entire Scriptures the serpent is used as a symbol of all that is wrong in human consciousness, and the command has always been to handle this serpent of deception with the understanding of Truth, and finally destroy it in all its forms.

Those who approve and countersign applications for membership in the Mother Church, will assist the Clerk, and also avoid disappointment to applicants if they will hold,—until after the semi-annual meetings,—the applications which have been sent to them for their signature at a date too late to reach the Clerk before the closing of the entries for admission, and notify those seeking membership that their applications were received too late to be entered.
