When Christian Science was first presented to me, to my darkened sense it seemed a jumble of contradictions. However, I was tired of old theories and mere form, and I persevered in the study, saying, "If this is of God, it is for me, too."
"I was seeking a higher sense of God, but as the Truth slowly dawned in my consciousness, healing followed as a natural result. That was nearly three years ago, and I can scarcely name all the proofs we have had of God's presence through the study of Science and Health; and with the help of our dear, patient practitioner many illnesses have been overcome, among them two cases of pneumonia which were seemingly very serious, and which were perfectly healed in a week's time.
This alone was worth much to me, for I learned to know something of the perfect Love that casteth out fear.
