Semi-annual Lecture of the Mother Church

The semi-annual lecture in the Mother Church was delivered by Judge Septimus J. Hanna, C.S.D., in Symphony Hall, Thursday evening, April 9, before an impressive audience.

Every seat was taken and every available foot of standing space was occupied, and hundreds were compelled to turn away before the hour of the lecture had arrived.

The Boston Globe referred to the speaker as commanding "the closest attention of his audience during his address, which occupied an hour and twenty minutes. He spoke of his personal knowledge of the laborious and consecrated daily life of Mrs. Eddy, the Founder and Leader of the movement, and gave a clear, simple, and comprehensive summary of Christian Science as a practical religion."
