I desire to give the readers of the Sentinel my testimonial of healing by Christian Science and what it can do for suffering humanity. A year ago found me a great sufferer from nervous prostration and heart trouble. The physicians told me I would never be well again; but thanks to a dear sister who had been healed through Christian Science, I was completely cured. I wish to tell of a demonstration I had a short time ago over what seemed to be a badly burned face I was preparing to do some baking and had lighted the gas in the oven. In some way the door was opened and the draft had extinguished the blaze, and when I went to look into the oven, on opening the door, the gas ignited from an upper flue and the blaze enveloped my face and burned it badly. The first thought was, "You will be dreadfully scarred," but immediately I took Science and Health and began reading. Soon the smarting ceased, and when I looked in the glass, as mortal mind always does to find something that is not, great was my surprise to see that the redness had nearly disappeared, and now not a single scar is left. I cannot be grateful enough for Christian Science and for what it has done, and is doing daily for me—C. S., Wellsville, N. Y.
