I became interested in Christian Science through reading...
I became interested in Christian Science through reading a copy of The Christian Science Journal which was sent me by a friend who is a Christian Scientist. I was at once impressed with the fact that I had at last found the truth which Jesus said would make us free. The third day after this I was freed from the smoking habit and have never had the least desire to smoke since that time.
I secured a copy of Science and Health, and after reading it for about two months I found myself healed of a rupture which I had for about seventeen years and which I thought would always remain with me. Since then many proofs of the ever-presence of God, Good, have come to me.
Although the physical healing did not attract me to Christian Science, my health has been uniformly good during all this time and I have not missed a single day from my business on account of ill health.
I am indeed very grateful to God that I am living in this age of Christian Science, and to Mrs. Eddy through whom this great blessing has come to mankind.
