Mr. Editor.
Certain judicial decisions have called public attention forcibly to the practice of healing the sick by other than material remedies.
Christian Scientists have proved, by a great multitude of cures effected, during the last thirty years and more, that "faith" when interpreted as spiritual understanding and not as mere blind belief, is a natural and highly efficient means of preventing and healing physical disease, as well as mental and moral discord. Their experience has led them to the conclusion, and statistics, as far as the latter can be gathered, confirm this, that the teaching of Christianity is the most efficacious means of restoring health and harmony.
