For the purpose of encouraging some one as unfortunate...
For the purpose of encouraging some one as unfortunate as I once was, I will add my testimony to the healing power of Christian Science, which has delivered me from the bondage of using morphine in large quantities. More than twenty years ago, partly through my own ignorance of the consequences, and partly through the carelessness of a physician, I contracted the habit, and for over fifteen years I have tried to get rid of it, and have spent hundreds of dollars on material remedies, but in vain. As a last resort, I turned to Christian Science, and in a comparatively short time was enabled to give up the drug and enjoy life without it. Other bad habits, among them tobacco smoking, were cured.—John Nelson, Shreveport, La.
