Message from a Little Child
At our Wednesday evening meeting recently a sweet message was sent to me from a little five-year-old girl. There were only four present at the meeting, and but two of these were Christian Scientists, but it was a helpful and happy occasion.
A mother, not a Scientist, said that she came to the meeting at the request of her little girl. The child said: "Tell Mrs. H. that I learned the little verse she gave me and have taught it to my brothers and sisters. My cold and cough are well and I am not going to have whooping cough." The verse referred to was the sweet New Year's gift from Mother to the little children.
One of the others present asked for the book with the verse so that she could teach it to her little grandson.
The other testimonies were helpful and very encouraging.
How grateful we are for the dear Sentinel! It does a work that nothing else can do.
