Atlanta Christian Scientists are deeply interested in the fate of Sara Pike Conger, wife of Edwin H. Conger, the United States minister in Pekin. Mrs. Conger is the representative of the Christian Science movement in the Flowery Kingdom, and as such she is known throughout the world.
It has been reported that Christian Scientists all over the country were concentrating their thoughts on Mrs. Conger, and that the centre in the movement of focusing mind force upon China is the Christian Scientist denomination of Chicago. The alleged reason for the selection of Chicago is that Minister and Mrs. Conger have close family ties there.
