New York's Underground Railway

The New York rapid transit tunnel will be twenty-one miles long (approximately) and cost $35,000,000. It will take three years to build.

The Boston subway is two and one-tenth miles long and cost $5,000,000.

The Paris (France) underground railway system is one and one-sixteenth miles long and will cost $1,600,000.
