Grateful for Christian Science

It was two years ago that I first had an opportunity to learn of Christian Science. I lived next door to Scientists and was acquainted with them. Many times I wanted to ask about it, but could not, because of the thought it was not my privilege to inquire into their belief and affairs. And so I drifted on, blind to the Good and not satisfied with what I had.

I finally asked for something of Science to read. I was told I could have it if I wanted it. I replied that I would like to read and see what it was. I expected the party would bring it to me, but it came not. Several days after I met the Scientist and told him that I thought he was going to let me have some reading. He answered, "Yes, if you want it." I said, "I do; can I get it now?" He said, "Why, yes." I received a Journal and a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I did littel else for a week but read that book. I cannot show my gratitude for Christian Science by simply saying that it has done something for me. I must know and demonstrate it in all the walks of life.
