Liquor and Tobacco Habits Destroyed

Elkton, Col., December 19, 1899.

Dear Friend in Truth:—I have often thought of writing to tell you of the great help Christian Science has been to me, but have put it off from time to time, waiting for a more convenient season; but when I received the Sentinel this evening and saw, as I think, an article from you, I concluded to delay no longer.

I had tried repeatedly to quit these habits, but did not give them up for any length of time and had come to think I could never give them up entirely.
