In investigated Christian Science with a view of seeing the Spiritual Light. I had been warned not to read any religious literature except such as was authorized by my church (Church of God). I heard much about Christian Science, both good and bad, and knowing nothing whatever about it, I very seriously questioned about reading anything at all, but concluded to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," trusting to God for guidance. If it proved to be an ungodly work, I knew I would not be led astray. To my great surprise, I found it to be truly spiritual; that it explained the Bible as I had never before been able to understand it. A peaceful satisfaction came over me, something I had never before experienced, and while reading Science and Health, I was healed of incurable diseases (so pronounced by the doctor). Since then the Bible and Science and Health have been my constant companions. The Journal and Sentinel are looked for with gladness. I have two little girls, and before I became a Scientist I prayed to God, that I might live (with all my suffering) until my children were old enough to remember a mother's love, care, and advice.

Only God knows what love I have for Mrs. Eddy. The world cannot repay the debt of gratitude it owes to her for proclaiming this Truth to us all. My husband and little ones rejoice with me for the blessings received, and truly we are a happy family.

I have interested my family and that of my husband, as well as many of my acquaintances, in the Truth, and they are beginning to see the beautiful Light of Christian Science.—Mrs. Ada Brueggerhoff, Austin, Tex.
